Army engineering units dismantle explosive device in Daraa countryside

Daraa – The army engineering units dismantled an explosive device planted by terrorists on Daraa- al-Mesmyia highway in Daraa northeastern countryside.

A source at Daraa Police Command told SANA that while combing the road linking al-Mesmyia town and the International Highway on Thursday morning the engineering units dismantled an explosive device planted by terrorists near one of the factories on the highway.

The source added that the terrorist organizations exploit the fact that the villages in which they are positioned in al-Lajat are close to the Mesmyia town to sneak to the highway at night and commit crimes against the citizens and the passing cars.
