More popular forces arrive in Afrin to support locals against Turkish assault and Daesh

Aleppo – More numbers of popular forces arrived in Afrin area on Wednesday afternoon to support the locals against Daesh terrorists and the aggression launched by the Turkish regime since January 20.

SANA said that new groups of popular forces arrived in Afrin area through Aleppo-Nubol road 24 hours after the arrival of the first batch whose members have been deployed in the specified points and centers to support the locals defending their villages and their homes against Daesh attacks and the aggression of Turkish regime and its mercenaries.

On Tuesday, Turkish forces attempted to prevent the first batch of popular forces from arrival and targeted with artillery their locations upon arrival in the area of Afrin, in addition to targeting media delegations that are covering the arrival of the forces.

The popular forces will engage in confronting the Turkish aggression and Daesh terrorist organization, defending Syria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and thwarting the attempt to occupy the city by Erdogan regime and its terrorist mercenaries.

Turkish regime continues its brutal aggression on Afrin for 33rd consecutive day, causing the death and injury of more than 360 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children.
