Lebanon’s Higher Defense Council Convenes to Discuss Israeli Threats

Lebanon’s President, General Michel Aoun  presided over the meeting of the Higher Defense Council held this Wednesday in Baabda in the presence of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and concerned ministers and security services chiefs, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

During the meeting, conferees discussed the security situation in the country and the Israeli intention to build a wall on the southern border of Lebanon, in addition to Block 9-related threats.

 After deliberation, the Council will take appropriate decisions and give directions thereon. The Council will keep its decisions confidential in accordance with the law.
