Concern of More Civilian Casualties and 17 April Dam Collapsing as a Result of Turkish Aggression on Syria

Aleppo/Hasaka– The aggression of Erdogan’s regime on the Syria has reached Hasaka’s countryside, as a civilian was killed when the Turkish army opened fire on a group of locals in Ayn al-Hissan village in the countryside of Ras al-Ayn, SANA reported.

Meanwhile, the Turkish aggression on Afrin city entered its tenth day as the Turkish forces are still shelling the town of Jendiris, Hammam village, the area of 17 April Dam, and other villages and towns in Afrin area, causing extensive damage to the infrastructure.

 Local sources told SANA that the continued shelling of the area of 17 April Dam will cause cracks in the dam, and that a disaster will happen in the area if the dam collapses.

The sources said that rescue teams and the locals continue lifting rubble in search of survivors of the massacre carried out by the Turkish regime against civilians in Qabli village, affirming that the number of victims of the massacre reached 8 dead and 7 wounded civilians, most of them are in critical condition, while the search is still underway for 10 missing civilians who were in the scene of the massacre.
