Arak Heavy Water Reactor Modernization Honor of JCPOA, Says Baeedinejad

London– Iran’s Ambassador to the UK Hamid Baeedinejad says preserving nature of Arak heavy water reactor and its modernization have been the most important outcome and honor of the JCPOA for Iranians.

Baeedinejad, who is a former member of Iran nuclear negotiating team, tweeted on Sunday that the international Zionism organized a psychological war to turn the victory into failure, which should be taken as an artificial example of filling heart of the reactor with cement and reporters had in their visit found falsehood of it. We should be careful of enemy plot.

 The JCPOA was inked in Vienna in July 2015 by Iran and the EU and the G5+1.

Despite ample IAEA report that Iran adheres to its JCPOA commitments, the US President Donald Trump in a statement recently repeated his worn-out claims against Iran and conditioned signing an act by the congress for preserving the JCPOA on some conditions.

Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif tweeted that Trump’s policy and his statement are cowardly acts to ham a solid multi-lateral agreement, while being hostile to violate clauses 26, 28 and 29 of the agreement.

Zarif said the JCPOA is non-negotiable and instead of repeating old claims, the US should act on its JCPOA commitments like Iran.
