Army bombards terrorists’ hideouts in several sites

PROVINCES,(ST)_A fighting flared up on Thursday between armed forces and a terrorist group in Der Ezzour province ended in killing 9 terrorists and wounding others.

In other areas of the same province, the armed forces eliminated many al-Nusra Front- linked terrorists and the so-called ‘free army’, and shelled 7 vehicles driven by terrorists.

Meanwhile, the armed forces carried out qualitative operations in countryside of Homs and Idleb where several terrorist leaders and their men were reportedly killed.

Over the past 48 hours, the Syrian Arab Army destroyed a lot of machinegun-equipped cars which had been used by al-Nusra Front-linked terrorists in Adra area in Damascus countryside, according to al-Watan newspaper.

The paper also reported that the army bombarded several terrorists’ hideouts in al Etaiba town, north the Damascus International Airport, and killed two terrorist leaders there.

A child shot dead by terrorists

In a separate development, two citizens (a child and a young man) were martyred and another one was injured when terrorists opened fire on a bus near Jdaydet Artoz area in Damascus Countryside.

The terrorist groups, who perpetrate heinous crimes against citizens and destroy the country’s infrastructure, are funded and supported by Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Britain, France, and the US.
