CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmad Abu Zaid Said Cairo calls for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria and combating terrorism at the same time.
“We affirm the references relevant to the political solution to the crisis in Syria, represented by resolution 2254 and Geneva communiques,” Abu Zaid said in a TV speech, according to SANA.
He stressed that Egypt supports all initiatives and efforts which come in the interest of the political track in Syria, in reference to the Syrian National Dialogue Congress due in Sochi later this month.
