Random mortar rounds rock Damascus

 

DAMASCUS,(ST)_A child was martyred and several school students were wounded by mortar rounds launched on Tuesday by terrorists on three schools in Baramkeh area in Damascus.

The mortar shells caused serious damages at the scenes, SANA reported.

Later on, the terrorists targeted one of the Syrian Information buildings through firing a mortar round landed on the surrounding of SANA Headquarters in the same area (Baramkeh).

Three workers were martyred and other five ones were seriously wounded at the scene.

Other citizens were reportedly martyred and wounded by several mortar rounds landed on Derar Mosque, Faculty of Law and surrounding of Damascus Hospital. 

In addition, a terrorist exploded a booby-trapped minibus in a populated alley, east Rekneddin area, in Damascus, causing martyrdom of three citizens and wounding other ones.

Nearby building were also seriously damaged.

In a separate incident, terrorists assassinated the judge, Ibrahim Abdulkarim Qadi, in al-Sakhor area in Aleppo province.
