TEHRAN,(ST)_Iran Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdul Allahyan expressed his country’s deep concern over terrorists use of chemical weapons in Syria, warning the USA, Britain, France and certain countries in the region that support armed extremists of the implications of this act on the region’s security.
In a statement on Saturday, Allahyan said “Iran ,as the biggest victim of chemical weapons, strongly condemns using this weapon by extremist terrorist groups operating in Syria under the name of opposition,” expressing his deep regret for the use of chemical weapons against the Syrian people and army.
The Iranian official noted the responsibility of the governments of the USA, Britain, France and some countries in the region in arming extremist groups, warning over the consequences of this act on the security of the region.
