Syria, Resistance Axis Overcome Terrorism, Says Iran’s Envoy

Beirut – Syria and Resistance Axis have gained significant victories on the ground and in political arena in confronting the Zionist regime of Israel and terrorist groups, Iran’s envoy said on Friday, IRNA reported.

Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali in a meeting with a delegation from National Democratic Party of Lebanon on Fridayalso emphasized the importance of efforts made by Resistance groups in neutralizing the plots against the region and its nations.

Head of the Lebanese delegation GhassanJaafar, at the meeting, praised Iran’s stances on supporting the Resistance, as well as Syria, Palestine and Iraq in confronting the Zionist and Takfiri terrorism and their sponsors.

‘The Resistance groups will stand by Iranian government and people against all the pressures and sanctions imposed by the US administration,’ he said.
