Syrians are committed to National Unity- Bishop

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Bishop Luke Khoury archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate  stressed that the Syrians are committed to their national unity and country and that they are certain that they will  emerge victorious from the crisis  and rebuild what was destroyed by armed terrorist groups .

During his meeting with a Russian delegation includes journalists, analysts and thinkers on Thursday, bishop Khoury  praised Russia ‘s  positions in supporting the Syrian people against  plots and attacks of hostile  media of  Arab and Western countries to undermine their national stances.

 He pointed out that in their prayers, the  Syrian appeal to the God Almighty to safeguard their country, the cradle of heavenly messages and human civilization and the land where  Paul the Messenger started his  mission to disseminate  Christianity.

Members of the delegation stressed  that they will honestly convey the truth of what they had seen in Syria to the public opinion in their country and to unmask the deception  made by certain Arab and western about what is happening in Syria.
