Lattakia – The competent authorities managed to bring the Syrian pilot Mohammed Sofan back, whose plane crashed on Turkish territory due to a technical malfunction last March.

Informed sources affirmed that competent authorities exerted all efforts to restore the pilot and used all available means to maintain his safety and bring him back safely from Turkey, SANA reported.

Pilot Mohamed Fayad Sofan was carrying out a reconnaissance mission against the terrorist groups in the province of Idleb when a technical failure in the plane occurred, which led to its fall inside the Turkish territory.
