AMMAN,(ST)_ Some 220 displaced Syrians returned back to their homeland on Wednesday from al-Zataari camp in the north of Jordan voluntarily, to escape the bad conditions they suffered there.
Jordanian Security Chief Colonel Zahir Hafez Abu Shehab explained to a parliamentary delegation visited the camp that 250 Syrians ask daily to return to their homeland and about other 2000 displaced applied to move from the camp to other Jordanian provinces and that 300 requests are approved weekly.
Tens of Syrians returned in recent months from the refugee camp in Jordan voluntarily to their homeland due to the difficult humanitarian conditions and the great suffering they undergo because of lack of humanitarian and medical services in addition to acts of kidnappings, robberies and fires taking place inside and around the camp .
