Desperate attempt!
From the very beginning of the crisis in Syria, Israel has been offering unlimited support to the terrorist groups operating in Syria. This support was represented by providing terrorist groups with modern weapons , facilitating their movement and planning their attacks against Syrian people and infrastructure. Moreover, Israel launches attacks against Syrian army positions recurrently to raise the morale of the terrorists groups, especially following the defeats inflicted upon them by the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army. The repeated Israeli attacks have become systematic behavior with the aim of protecting Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists. It is unacceptable that the UNSC has not taken decisive measures to put an end to such flagrant attacks. Any attack against the Syrian Arab army forms a direct support to terrorism, taking into account that the Syrian Arab army is fighting terrorism on behalf of the entire world.
The UNSC and countries which have an influence on the Israeli entity should immediately condemn those attacks and halt them in order to defend security and stability and protect the lives of people all around the world.
The UN Security Council should condemn the Israeli repeated aggressions on Syrian territories and take an immediate and decisive measure to halt them in accordance with its resolutions related to combating terrorism. Such attacks will have catastrophic consequences which complement the ISIS crimes and practices to escalate the situation and fuel the region and the world.
On September, 7th, 2017, the Israeli warplanes targeted one of the Syrian military positions near Misyaf in Hama city with several missiles, killing two army personnel and causing material damage to the site. The new Israeli attack aims at raising the morale of its agents represented by the terrorist groups which are carrying out its aggressive agenda and in response to the great achievements made by the Syrian Arab army and its allies in their war against terrorism, the last of which is breaking the 3-year ISIS siege of Deir Ezzor city.
Earlier, Israeli warplanes attacked services facilities and residential buildings in the surroundings of al-Baath city in Quenitra province at the same time as Jabhat al-Nsura terrorists were attacking the area. Israeli warplanes also targeted a military position in Khan Arnabeh in Quneitra, causing material damage. Such desperate attempts will not dissuade the Syrian Army and Armed Forces from continuing to crush the terrorist groups that act as Israel’s proxy in the area.
The Israeli and Western support of the takfiri terrorist groups operating in Syria will never make the Syrian army and people succumb to the US Zionist project. Rather it will increase their determination to press ahead with their battle against takfiri terrorism until eliminating it and restoring security and stability to Syria.
The Israeli aggression on the Syrian territory is part of a long series of Israeli aggressions against the sovereignty and independence of Syria and the sanctity of its territory. Such attacks would not have happened without the direct support of the US administration and the French and British leaderships. These attacks have been planned by the Israeli, French, and British intelligence agencies and their agents in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, and other countries that wanted to impose control and hegemony on Syria and the region.
All the Israeli attacks on Syria coincided with defeats for the armed terrorist groups, mainly the large defeat that affected terrorists in Aleppo and Deir Ezzor and after the reconciliations which led to the exit of terrorists from areas surrounding Damascus and other Syrian areas, which shattered the dreams of Israel and its Western allies and its Saudi and Qatari agents.
The desperate and declared Israeli support for the terrorist organizations makes it a partner in the killing of Syrians and the destruction of their achievements and this support confirms that terrorism and Israel are two sides of the same coin.
The blatant Israeli role in the terrorist war on Syria makes it imperative for the international community and the Secretariat of the United Nations and the UN Security Council to take immediate action to punish the Israeli aggressor and prevent such attacks from being repeated, as their disastrous impact isn’t limited to attacking the Syrian sovereignty and defying the UN Security Council and General Assembly resolutions, but they also manifest as direct Israeli support for terrorist organizations in Syria.
