Army Secures Arrival of 21 Civilians in Deir Ezzor

DEIR EZZOR-A unit of the Syrian Arab Army has secured the arrival of 21 civilians, including children and women, to the city of Deir Ezzor after they were liberated from one of the dens of ISIS in the western countryside of the city.

According to SANA, the liberated citizens expressed their happiness at their success in escaping from ISIS terrorism, calling on all the people of Deir Ezzor, who are still residing in the areas where the terrorist organization exists to head for the nearest point of the Syrian Arab Army as to reach the safety.

 During a meeting with the 21 civilians, Deir Ezzor Governor Mohammad Ibrahim Samra affirmed that the governorate will secure all the requirements of citizens who fled the ISIS terrorism until they return to their homes and villages.

For his part, Head of Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Deir Ezzor Mohamed Diaa al-Dahmoush said that the citizens were welcomed immediately upon their arrival in the city and they have been provided with food and treatment, adding that the SARC will continue to provide relief aid to all the people of the country.

Units of the Syrian Arab Army, in cooperation with backup forces, are carrying out intensive operations in Deir Ezzor city and its countryside to expel the ISIS terrorist organization.
