US-Led International Coalition Airstrikes in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor Kill 22 Civilians

Raqqa/Deir Ezzor- The warplanes of the US-led international coalition on Wednesday killed 22 civilians after carrying out airstrikes on citizens’ houses in the city of Raqqa and in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to SANA.

Local and media sources said that the warplanes of the US-led international coalition carried out airstrikes targeting one of the citizens’ houses in al-Bado alley in Raqqa city, killing 11 civilians, mostly women and children.

 In the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, 11 other civilians from one family were killed in the coalition’s airstrikes on al-Shahabat village.

The strikes also caused huge damage to the citizens’ houses and infrastructure, according to the local sources.
