Army units establish control over five police stations on the Syrian-Jordanian borders

Provinces – In the framework of regaining all the police stations on the Syrian-Jordanian borders, a military source said on Wednesday that army units established control over five police stations in the south-eastern countryside of Damascus Countryside after killing army of the terrorists and injuring others.

The source told SANA that army units carried out operations on terrorists’ positions where they established control over the border police stations ranging from number 165 to 169 in the southeastern part of Damascus Countryside.

The source added that many of the terrorists were killed and others got injured and a number of cannons were seized.

 

The army units started immediately to comb the area and defuse the mines and explosives planted by the terrorists.

Raqqa

The Syrian Air Force and Russian Aerospace Forces carried out airstrikes targeting ISIS gatherings and fortifications in the southeastern countryside of Raqqa Province, inflicting heavy losses upon the ISIS terrorists in personnel and equipment.

A military source told SANA Wednesday that the Syrian Air Force and Russian Aerospace Forces carried out airstrikes targeting ISIS gatherings and fortifications in Ma’adan city and to the south of it, about 70 km southeast of Raqqa city, destroying their vehicles and hideouts and killing a number of them.

Hama

Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a series of sorties against gatherings and positions of the ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hama central province.

A military source told SANA that the Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out intensive airstrikes against positions, gatherings and supply routes of the ISIS terrorists in the villages of Akash, Um Mil, Abu Hubailat, Oqairbat and al-Qastal al-Shamali, al-Qastal al-Janoubi and al-Wistani in the eastern countryside.

The source added that a number of the ISIS vehicles were destroyed in the airstrikes and scores of terrorists were killed and others were injured.
