Nasrallah: Those Who Bet on Defeating Resistance Will Be Frustrated

BEIRUT, (ST)- Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has stressed that the terrorist organizations on which the Israeli occupation has bet to undermine Syria have failed, pointing out that the defeat of terrorism in Arsal and Flita barrens few weeks ago was very disappointing to the Israeli enemy.

In a statement marking the 11th Anniversary of the 2006 victory on the Israeli enemy, Nasrallah said Israel is the most sad party because of the latest victory in Arsal and Flita barrens and now it as well as America are crying over the terrorist groups’ defeat.

 Israeli and the United States are sparing no effort as to avoid ISIS collapse, because ISIS defeat means the victory of  Syria and the axis of resistance, Nasrallah said.

 He pointed out that the coming few days will witness the departure of the rest of “Saraya Ahlu Sham’s” gunmen from Arsal barrens following the facilitations provided by the Syrian leadership. Consequently the Lebanese army will be deployed in the area and once the Lebanese army is ready, Hezbollah will hand over all posts in Arsal outskirts, Nasrallah said.

“We are all waiting the decision of the Lebanese army leadership which will specify when the new battle to liberate the rest of the Lebanese barrens in al-Qaa and Ras Baalbek from ISIS terror group will start,” clarified Nasrallah.

“The next battle between Lebanese army and ISIS has no time limit. We are in front of a certain victory, it is a matter of time,” he said, pointing out that this is a certain issue based on a national sovereign decision without any foreign considerations.

Addressing some Lebanese political forces, which adopt sharp positions on Syria, Nasrallah said “the scheme you have been betting on in Syria is collapsing and the decision to eliminate ISIS terrorist organization has been made, because no one will defend this terror group after all the massacres it has committed.

He underscored that coordination between Lebanon and Syria is essential to discuss all common issues.

Israel’s 2006 war’s goal was to crush Hezbollah

Hizbollah Secretary General asserted that after eleven years, July war is still in the Israeli enemy’s conscience.

He affirmed that Israel’s July war’s goal was to crush Hezbollah, however “our strength has been growing and the Israelis acknowledge this”.

“All those who bet on defeating the resistance by targeting the axis of resistance in the region will be frustrated,” Nasrallah said, pointing out that the cost of any Israeli war on Lebanon will be very high.

Nasrallah noted the shift in the stances of some countries on Syria as well as the bad situation of the “opposition” after the Gulf crisis and the weak position of the terrorist groups which are besieged in most areas in Syria.

He said the Americans know that the game is over in Syria and they announced that the armed groups they have trained, funded, and bet on have failed and they even pose a serious threat to the world.    

Nasrallah also said that the war on Syria, Iraq and Yemen is an American-Israeli will, reiterating that the American administration won’t be able to harm or weaken the strength  and the will of resistance.

He stressed that all those who keep silent on Yemen aggression bear responsibility of the horrible massacre taking place against Yemeni people.
