“We Had No Doubt Hezbollah Would Secure Our Freedom”

Lebanese National Resistance (Hezbollah) captives who were released on Thursday in a swap deal between with Takfiri Nusra Front, stressed they never doubted that the Lebanese resistance would secure their freedom.

Upon their arrival in the border town of Al-Qaa, Mohammad Mahdi Shoaib, Ahmad Mezher, Hasan Taha, Moussa Kourani, and Mohammad Jawad Yassine received hero welcome, according to al-Manar TV website.

Hezbollah politburo chief Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed, Head of Lebanese General Security Major General Abbas Ibrahim and Hezbollah security official Wafiq Safa took part in popular ceremony held in Al-Qaa.

 Talking to media, one of the freed captives, Mohammad Mahdi Shoaib said he and his fellow Hezbollah fighters who were held by Takfiri terrorists were certain that the resistance leadership would not abandon them and will secure their release.

“We had no doubt that the resistance would secure their freedom,” Shoaib said as he thanked Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, the Syrian army and the Islamic Republic of Iran over their role in securing their release.

The Five Hezbollah fighters, who were captured by Nusra Front last year were released as part of a swap deal with the Takfiri group, that saw 116 buses and 17 ambulances carrying Nusra militants making their way to Idlib.
