14 civilians injured in several terrorist attacks on residential neighborhoods in Damascus

Damascus – 14 civilians were injured as the armed terrorist groups fired 17 rocket and mortar shells on several residential neighborhoods in Damascus city.

The attack constitutes a new breach of the Russian memorandum on de-escalation zones in Syria, SANA reported.

A source at Damascus Police Command stated that the armed terrorist groups situated in the eastern Ghouta targeted Damascus city with 17 shells,  5 of which fell in Bab Touma neighborhood and caused the injury of 13 citizens while 3 others hit the premises of the Russian embassy in al-Mazra’a neighborhood, injuring one person.

The source added that 9 shells fell in Sarouja and Zein al-A’bideen area in al-Mouhajreen neighborhood causing material damage only.
