Turjman, who was speaking during his tour in the pavilion of the Information Ministry at the fair ground, said the ministry’s pavilion will be equipped with a media center that will provide services to all the journalists who will visit the fair for coverage. He pointed out that there will be a special studio, radio station, open air studios as well as a daily newspaper to talk about the activities of the fair.

“Damascus International Fair is of great value as it carries political, economic and social messages to the world,” said the minister, stressing that “launching the fair indicates that Syria is at the gate of victory and it is still full of life.”

The minister’s tour also included a visit to the pavilion of the Syrian Businessmen Center in addition to those of several participating countries.

Damascus International fair is one of the most important economic, cultural and social annual events of which Syria was distinguished. It is launched this year after a five-year stop because of the terrorist war imposed on the country.
