Hezbollah Launches Battle to Clear Arsal Outskirts of Nusra Terrorists

BEIRUT-The Lebanese national resistance has announced the beginning of a military operation to clear the Arsal outskirts of terrorists.

Hisbollah Military Media Center reported that a battle to cleanse Arsal outskirts from Nusra Takfiri terrorists started off early on Friday.

According to al-Manar TV website, Hezbollah Lebanese resistance fighters targeted with rocket and artillery fire Jabhat al-Nusra gatherings in Arsal outskirts and Qalamoun.

 “The military operation to clear the outskirts of Arsal and Qalamoon from armed terrorists has begun,” Hezbollah’s Military Media Center said in a statement.

 “There is no time limit for the operation… which will be carried out according to planned phases,” the Center said in a tweet.

Also on Friday, the Lebanese army targeted the terrorist group while trying to flee from Wadi al-Za’rour area towards Arsal amid rocket and artillery fire by the Lebanese resistance on the terrorists’ sites in Arsal barrens where terrorists affiliated to Daesh and Jabhat al-Nusra are taking positions and attacking Lebanese army sites and neighboring villages.
