The agency reported yesterday that three memorial shields were given to heads of SARC, the Trust and the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East during the closing ceremony of the festival which included a film entitled “Me, You, My Mother and My Father’, in addition to poems and a concert.

It added that the four-day festival, kicked off on July 14 under the patronage of Prime Minister Imad Khamis, included cultural, sport and tourist activities.

The festival’s first session was held in 2005, but it was suspended from 2011 till 2015 because of the circumstances the province was going through.

It represents a message to the whole world that the Syrian history and civilization will never disappear.
