Four People Martyred, 9 Wounded in Terrorist Suicide Attack in Hama

HAMA, (ST)- Three people, including two women, were martyred and 9 others were wounded in a terrorist suicide attack in Hama.

Mohammad al-Hazouri, Hama Governor, said in a statement to SANA that “a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up at the entrance of a bus station claiming the lives of two women and wounding 11 civilians, two of them suffer serious injuries.” 

Later the two wounded citizens with serious injuries martyred and raise the death toll to four.

Following the terrorist blast, authorities found two explosive devices which were immediately dismantled by the engineering unites, clarified the governor.

  Earlier, a source at the police command said that the terrorist attack led to the martyrdom of two people and the wounding of nine others and caused material damage to vehicles at the site.

SANA correspondent said that the terrorist attack caused heavy material damage to the station’s entrance, to Imam Msallam Mosque and to the station’s infrastructure.
