Groundless!

Throughout the past seven years, the US and its regional and Arab tools have resorted to fabricate groundless allegations about Syria with the aim of prolonging the Syrian crisis,preventing the Syrian Arab army from achieving its sublime goals regarding uprooting terrorism and restoring security and stability to the whole Syrian territories and hindering the strenuous efforts being exerted to resolve the crisis peacefully and politically.The US claims of new chemical attacks allegedly planned by the Syrian government are unsubstantiated. These accusations are not backed up by anything. No one is putting forward any facts and the goal is to aggravate tensions. This complicates the negotiation process, negatively affects the efforts being made in Astana and Geneva.The statements and accusations fabricated in the past few days by Western officials and representatives of their governments are part of a cheap political and media war that has been always coincided with the Syrian army and its allies’ real achievements in the fight against terrorism and the intra-Syrian talks, whether in Astana or Geneva,  to hinder the Syrian government’s efforts to achieve a political solution among the Syrians without foreign interference.

 The provocative claims made by the US about preparing a chemical attack in Syria are directed against the great achievements realized by the Syrian Arab army and its allies in the battle against takfiri terrorism, especially in the aftermath of the great victories realized in Palmyra, Damascus Countryside and other areas.

The US escalating measures  against  Syria is in violation of the UN Charter.The allegations made by the White House that Syria could be preparing a chemical attack is as an “invitation” for terrorists and the so called “opposition” to launch a provocation using chemical weapons. These new US hints are nothing less than an invitation for terrorists, extremists and armed groups in Syria to fabricate another mass provocation using chemical weapons.

The misleading campaign launched by the United States over the past few days alleging that Syria intends to launch a chemical attack on citizens is unsubstantiated and unsupported by any facts or justifications.The objective of these allegations is to justify a new act of aggression against Syria under false pretenses, similar to the US aggression on a-Shayrat airport.

These claims also aim at covering up the attacks launched by the  illegal international coalition led by the US, which has caused the death of thousands of innocent Syrian civilians.

These threats also follow the great achievements made by Syrian Arab Army and its allies all over the Syrian territory against the terrorist groups supported by the US and its tools in the region and beyond.These threats aimat raising the morale of the terrorist organizations and prolonging the crisis in Syria.

The US threats are categorically rejected and any US aggression against the Syrian Arab army and people would be in the service of the armed terrorist organizations. Any such aggression would be in contradiction of the principles and goals of the United Nations Charter and the UN Security Council resolutions related to the fight against terrorism, particularly resolution No. 2253. The international community should condemn the US attack on Shayrat airport, the killing of innocent Syrian civilians. The recent US threats of committing a new aggression aim at obstructing the successes of the Syrian Arab army and its allies in the battle against terrorism.
