Competent authorities regain control over hotels in Palmyra

PROVINCES,(ST)_An official source at Homs province categorically denies reports on the terrorists groups’ entrance to Homs citadel.

The source told SANA that the reports are ‘groundless’ and aims at buoying up the spirits of terrorist groups who are being pursued by the armed forces.

It added that three mortar rounds landed in central prison in Homs city causing material damages.

In the same province, competent authorities arrested a terrorist, who was driving a booby-trapped car near a military checkpoint.  

Meanwhile, competent authorities regained control over series of hotels in Palmyra including Dedeman, Semiramis,andHaroon  and al-Roken al-Badawi restaurant which the terrorists burgled and used as hideouts to plot for perpetrating crimes against citizens.

“The competent authorities killed most of the terrorists who caused serious damages in tourist places,” a source told SANA, adding that engineering units dismantled several explosive devices planted by the terrorists in these places.

Elsewhere, the armed forces frustrated an attempt to blast a booby-trapped tractor carrying 2000 kg of explosives before it arrived in youths camp in Idleb countryside.

They also killed a lot of terrorists in the same province and in Damascus countryside.

Terrorists kill each other

Several terrorists’ hideouts in al-Hajar al-Aswad, Hajera ,Qarra, and Yabrod areas in Damascus countryside are reported shelled by the armed forces.

In a separate development, 12 terrorists were killed in Serjeh town in Idleb countryside during a row broken out between terrorist groups over sharing loots. 

Another fighting was broken out between terrorist groups in a hideout in Lattakia countryside over loots. Most of the terrorist were killed and the hideout completely destroyed, according to SANA.

However, Aleppo city saw a march in support for the Syrian Arab Army.

Locals of al-Slimaneya and al-Midan in the city (Aleppo) have highly appreciated the army’s sacrifices being offered to restore stability and security across Syria.

The Syrian armed forces are fighting the foreign-backed terrorist groups in several provinces to restore stability and security to the country.

Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, France, Britain, and the US support, fund and train the terrorist groups, who perpetrate criminal acts against citizens all over Syria and destroy its infrastructure.
