Army kills ISIS terrorists, seizes a BMP in Deir Ezzor and tightens control over al-Talila Reserve

Provinces – Artillery of the Syrian army on Sunday bombarded fortifications and positions of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of Panorama area, Borouk Hill, the Airport, al-Tharda, al-Hweiqa neighborhood and to the west of the Radio station in Ayash village in Deir Ezzor Province.

Many of the terrorists were either killed or injured and their fortifications were destroyed in the military operation, SANA reported.

 SANA pointed out that the Air Force of the Army carried out several sorties, destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in Hattla and the surrounding of the Airport, adding that several terrorists were killed or injured during the operation.

In a qualitative operation, guards of Deir Ezzor Airport seized a BMP vehicle of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding of the Airport according to the reporter.

Army units, in cooperation with backing forces, tightened control over al-Talila Reserve, 13 km south of Arak village after targeting ISIS terrorists’ gatherings in the eastern countryside of Palmyra, a military source said.

The source added that the military operation resulted in eliminating a number of the ISIS terrorists and destroying various kinds of their vehicles.
