Erdogan Should be Arrested for Sending Weapons to Terrorists in Syria: Felicity Party

ANKARA, (ST)-Leader of Turkish Felicity Party (SAADET) Mustafa Kamalak has stressed that President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan is the main reason for the crisis in Syria and for the internal and external crises in Turkey.

Interviewed by the “The People” Channel, Kamalak said the situation in Syria and the region wouldn’t have deteriorated and Turkey wouldn’t have experienced terrorist attacks if only Turkey’s Erdogan hadn’t sent weapons to the terrorist groups in Syria via Turkish intelligence trucks.

According to the Syrian News Agency SANA, the Turkish party leader expressed astonishment over the arrest of Turkish Parliament Member Enis Berberoglu for his role in uncovering secrets about sending weapons to terrorists in Syria. He pointed out that those who sent the weapons are the ones who should be arrested.

Kamalak voiced his support for the demonstrations organized by the People’s pary in Ankara in protest at Berberoglu’s detention  and in condemnation of Erdogan’s policies which seek full control over the judiciary.

On his part, former Turkish Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis said that the issue of the trucks which delivered weapons to terrorist groups in Syria may lead Erdogan to the International Criminal Court in the Hague, because the videos and photos prove Erdogan’s involvement in supporting terrorism in Syria.”

He added that Berberoglu’s detention proves this issue.

Kilicdaroglu: Erdogan Should be Put on Trial

Thousands of supporters of the Republican People’s Party CHP kicked off demonstrations to protest the verdict issued by Erdogan’s regime against Berberoglu that provides for sentencing him to 25 years in prison for uncovering Turkey’s role in providing the armed groups in Syria with weapons.

During today’s demonstration, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the CHP leader, told reporters that  Erdogan had sent weapons and military equipments to terrorists in Syria and that he should be put on trial for his responsibility for the killing of thousands of Syrian citizens.
