Iran Puts Its Experiences in Reconstruction Era at Syria Disposal, Says Boroujerdi

A senior lawmaker said on Monday that Iran will share with Syria the experiences it has gained during reconstruction of the country after eight years of sacred defense with Iraq.

Boroujerdi said in a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Syrian Council of Ministers Muhammad Amouri in Tehran on Monday.

Iranian government and parliament spare no efforts to establish peace and stability and help annihilate terrorist groups in the region, in Syria in particular, he said.

Expressing satisfaction over the recent victories of the Syrian army in the fight against terrorism, he said resistance of the Syrian people and its armed forces was the key to their triumph in their struggles with terrorist groups.

The Islamic Republic of Iran spares no efforts to help Syrian government and nation to reconstruct the war-torn country and Iran’s invaluable experiences gained during eight years of sacred defense will be very valuable to the Syrian government, he said.

He called for expansion of economic cooperation between the two sides’ private sectors.

The Syrian envoy, for his part, appreciated Iran’s supports for the Syrian people, and said the Islamic Republic of Iran has taken significant stride to help restore stability, security and fight against terrorist groups in the region.

Iran and Syrian people have had consolidated ties and affinity throughout history, he said.

Active presence of Iranian investors and private companies help bolster relations between the two nations, the Syrian envoy said.

In conclusion, he extended condolences on martyrdom of a group of  Majlis staffers and civilians during Tehran terrorist attacks by Daesh terrorist group.
