US-Led Coalition Shells Raqqa’s Neighborhoods with Internationally Banned White Phosphorus Bombs

RAQQA-The aircrafts of the US-led international coalition carried out 25 airstrikes during the past 24 hours on the residential neighborhoods in Raqqa city, using the internationally banned white phosphorus bombs in some of the raids, according to activists on social media outlets, SANA reported.

Identical Local and media sources said that the airstrikes targeted areas in the western parts of Raqqa city and the area between al-Mashlab and al-Sinaa neighborhoods, in addition to al-Sabahi neighborhood, claiming the lives of 17 people, including 12 in a raid on an internet cafe in al-Jazra area near the Euphrates River.

 On Thursday, 14 civilians were killed and many others were injured in airstrikes of the US-led coalition against Syrians in al-Raqqa city.

Activists posted on the social media sites pictures and videos of the coalition’s raids on the east and west of Raqqa, showing the use of the internationally banned white phosphorus bombs during a number of raids.
