Former Czech Intelligence Chief Blames the West for ISIS Creation

Former Czech military intelligence chief Gen. Andor Šándor has underscored that western intervention in Syria, Libya and other countries led to the destabilization of the Middle East region and to the creation of the ISIS terror organization.

His remark was made during an interview with the Czech ‘Parliamentary papers’ website on Tuesday.

“The western countries’ foreign policy based on intervention in the internal affairs of the Middle East region’s countries has paved the way for the spread of terrorism,” he said, asserting that terrorism which hits Britain, France and other European countries is caused by the western foreign policy.

Gen. Šándor referred to double-standard policy of western media outlets that talked for only few hours about the recent terror attack in Kabul that killed scores of persons, whereas they will talk for a long time about the attacks took place in London.

“The west bears a large part of responsibility for the flow of immigrants to Europe,” he added.

It is worth noting that the foreign-backed terrorist organizations’ attacks in Syria and Iraq and the economic sanctions imposed on the two countries as well as the eruption of wars in many areas in the region are the causes of immigration.
