Prospects of Future Cooperation with Russian Moskova Discussed

 Damascus, (ST) – Minister of Public Works and Housing Hussein Arnous discussed with a delegation representing the Russian-Syrian Company for Trade and Investment “Moskova” prospects of future cooperation within the domains of the ministry’s work.

 During the meeting held here on Saturday, the Minister gave a presentation on the reality of the public sector of construction and the tasks of the institutions affiliated to the Ministry in the field of construction and reconstruction, pointing to the existence of studies of large projects at the Ministry, but many of these projects need funding.

  Mr. Arnous clarified that Syria’s friends who stood by its side will make a significant contribution to the construction phase, calling on Russian companies to invest and enter the Syrian market.

 For his part, the company’s director, Nayef Abu Zeina, expressed the company’s desire to cooperate with the ministry in the fields of construction, noting that Moskova is one of the largest companies working in the field of contracting and providing services.

 The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Public Works and Housing and a number of managers.
