2672 People, including 1076 Gunmen Leave Barzeh within 3rd Phase of Settlement Agreement

DAMASCUS, (ST)- 2672 people  including 1076 gunmen have left Damascus’ Barzeh neighborhood within the framework of implementing the 3rd phase of the settlement agreement reached there, Damascus Governor Bisher al-Sabban announced on Saturday.

 SANA reporter said that the third phase of the settlement agreement in Barzeh district was completed in preparation to bring the state institutions back to the area.  

A number of buses gathered in Barzeh to transfer the third batch of gunmen and members of their families, who refused to join the settlement agreement, to Syria’s northern region.

 On May 12, the second phase of the settlement agreement was completed by the departure of 1246 people including 718 gunmen towards the country’s northern countryside.
