UK sent £20mln worth of weapons to terrorists in Syria

Britain has sent secret shipments of weapons worth 20 million sterling pound to terrorists in Syria, Syria’s state-run media said Monday.

Media said the shipments had included machine guns, assault rifles, anti-tank missiles, rocket launchers, grenades and munitions.

They cited British newspapers as saying the deliveries were made seven week ago as part of UK defense ministry’s plan to set up regular arms trafficking routes to terrorists in Syria. These routes allegedly went across Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
