Deputy Speaker of Czech’s Parliament has said the time has come to work seriously to defeat the ISIS terrorist organization and to end the crisis in Syria through political solution and reconstruction process.
Vojtěch Filip expressed his optimism about the improvement of the situation in the near future, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The agency quoted the Czech official as saying in an article published Wednesday by the Czech ‘Halo Novin’ newspaper that it is important to honestly investigate what happened in Khan Sheikhoun area in Idlib countryside last month.
“The U.S. President Donald Trump’s foreign policy is similar to the behavior of an elephant in a ceramic factory or to the former U.S. administration’s acts that sparked war in Syria through supporting extremist terrorist groups,” Filip said.
He expressed his concern over the possibility of carrying out a ‘new reckless action’ by Trump after his first aggression on al-Shayart airfield in Syria.
Last month, the US launched several missiles at one of the Syrian army’s airfields in the central region, killing 7 persons, wounding several more and causing big material damage.
Other missiles were launched by the US at several towns in the east-southern countryside of Homs where 9 civilians, including 4 children, were reportedly martyred.
Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged against Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
