Army thwarts ISIS terrorists’ attack on military posts in Homs

Homs – Army units operating in Homs, in cooperation with the supporting forces, thwarted ISIS terrorist groups’ attack on a number of military posts in Rajem al-Ali, Tal Shiha and Talet al-Medrajeh in the eastern countryside of Homs Province.

A military source said that the army units, aided by the backing forces, thwarted terrorist groups’ infiltration from a number of axes towards the military posts in Rajem al-Ali, Tal Shiha and Talet al-Medrajeh, about 80 km east of Homs city, leaving a number of terrorists dead or injured, SANA reported.

The source added that the army destroyed two machineguns-equipped pick-up cars for the terrorist groups and killed most of their members, while scores of them fled away towards al-Badia.
