Army destroys Jabhat al-Nusra fortifications in Daraa

Daraa – An army unit targeted Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa southern province.

A military source said that the army killed and injured a number of terrorists in al-Sadd road neighborhood and northwest of the old Customs and destroyed their fortifications and machinegun nests southeast of al-Khazan and in al-Abbasiyeh neighborhood, SANA reported.

 

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Air Force carried out a series of sorties targeting ISIS terrorists’ hideouts and positions in Deir Ezzor.

Intensive strikes were launched against gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in al-Rasafeh neighborhood and the surroundings of the graveyards area and al-Thurda and Brick Factories, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and equipment, according to SANA.

SANA added that an army unit carried out a special operation against other gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in the vicinity of Liwa al-Tamin, destroying BMP a vehicle and killing and injuring a number of terrorists.

Local sources in al-Sayyal town in al-Boukamal area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor said that ISIS terrorists had executed a citizen by gunshots to the head.
