Army downs ISIS reconnaissance aircraft, destroys Jabhat al-Nusra command centers

Deir Ezzor, Daraa – An army unit shot down an ISIS reconnaissance aircraft near the eastern barricade of Deir Ezzor airport and destroyed a bulldozer in al-Makabbat area south of the city, SANA reported.

SANA added that on the southern side of the city, the army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in al-Maqaber area, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

 Terrorist Ahmad al-Jenin, one of the Takfiri terrorist organization’s leaders was identified among the killed.

The army units carried out intensive bombardments on the terrorists’ fortified position and movement axes in al-Thardah mountain, al-Tharda valley, al-Tharda junction, and al-Arfi neighborhood, inflicting direct losses upon terrorists in personnel and equipment.

Daraa

According to a military source, army units destroyed 4 vehicles and two command centers for Jabhat al-Nusra in Daraa al-Balad, Buser al-Harir and Jeninin in Allajt area.
