First Phase of Agreement on Evacuating People from Terrorist-Besieged Villages of Kafraya and Fou’a Accomplished

ALEPPO, (ST)- Buses carrying some 5000 people from the terrorist- besieged  Syrian villages of Kafraya and al-Fou’a of Idleb Countryside arrived today in the city of Aleppo in implementation of an agreement reached to evacuate locals from the two villages in parallel with the departure of gunmen and their families from al-Zabadani and Madaya towns in Damascus countryside to Idleb.

According to SANA reporter, 75 buses and 20 ambulances carrying hundreds of people from Kafraya and al-Fou’a arrived  today in al- Ramouseh area in southern Aleppo. The people of the two villages were taken to Jibrin area where makeshift housing centers were prepared and equipped by the governorate of Aleppo to receive the evacuated families, the reporter said.

 Syrian Arab Red Crescent ambulances carrying 50 persons, who were injured in today’s terrorist car bomb attack against the buses, arrived in Aleppo before the buses convoy. The injured people were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Simultaneously, buses transporting more than 2,300 gunmen and their family members arrived in al-Rashidin area, to the West of Aleppo, coming from al-Zabadani and Madaya  in preparation to take them to Idleb countryside.
