Minister of Housing Meets Lebanese Businessmen

Damascus< (ST) -Minister of Public Works and Housing Eng. Hussein Arnous discussed yesterday with a delegation of Lebanese businessmen in the field of mechanisms and modern construction techniques and ways to develop cooperation in the fields related to the work of the ministry.

The Minister Arnous listened to an explanation from the General Director of Ditch With Tech for Middle East Drilling Technologies about the areas of expertise and the fields in which the company works to extend the infrastructure networks and modern drilling techniques whereas the modern techniques that the company own can work without damaging the asphalt layer and extend the necessary services.

 Mr. Arnous called on the delegation to participate in the Damascus International Fair, which will be held  next August, indicating that the company can bring the mechanisms and products of their companies and display them in the exhibition to allow them to be seen before the various companies and institutions.

For his part, the Director-General of the Company for Roads and Bridges, Eng. Luay Barakat, stressed the need of the company for these modern technologies because of its importance in saving time and effort and completing the work in high-precision technical ways. Thus, the projects entrusted to the Roads and Bridges Company are completed faster, especially in light of the requirements of the reconstruction phase.
