Slovakian and Czech MPs Say US Aggression on Syria Based on False Pretenses

Slovakian and Czech MPs have condemned the US aggression carried out last Friday on Syria under false pretenses.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Chairman of European Committee in Slovakian Parliament strongly denounced the US aggression on Syria, saying that it was carried out against a sovereign state without authorization from the United Nations.

Ľuboš Blaha, who is a member of parliament for the left-wing SMER-SD party, warned on his Facebook page that this criminal act will lead to a tragedy, recalling that the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 was carried out under false pretexts.

He underlined the need to stop fascism.

On his part, the Czech Member of Parliament Milan Šarapatka asserted that the US aggression on Syria was carried out under false pretexts and without any proof.

He wondered whether the CIA received information about what happened in Khan Shikhon area in Syria’s Idlib province from the branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, indicating that al-Qaeda branch is the only active group in the said area.

Šarapatka asked about the claims of using chemical weapons by Syrian army as it achieves victories in several fronts, affirming that the chemical attack does not serve the Syrian government.

The Czech MP pointed out that hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi people were killed during the US invasion of Iraq, which led to the foundation of the most dangerous enemy to civilization, namely ISIS.
