A Syrian Swimmer Wins Three Medals

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Azad al-Barazi of Syria’s national swimming team won a gold medal in 50m butterfly (28.4 sec), silver in 100m butterfly (1:02:04 min), and bronze in 200m butterfly (2:17:03min) at the international New zealand championship.

This participation of al-Barazi comes as preparation of World Championship at July/2017 in Hungary

 

It is to be mentioned that al-Barazi achieved the needed record in 50m butterfly (27.99 sec) and 100m (01:01:78 min) butterfly for participation in World Championship.
