US Flagrant Aggression Encourages Terrorists
DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The USA carried a flagrant aggression at dawn today against a Syrian military Airbase in the central region of Syria causing the martyrdom of 6 persons , scores of injured and inflicted heavy material damage, declared the General Command of the Syrian Arab Army and Armed Forces.
The US attack encourages the terrorists to use the more of their stockpiled chemical weapons once damages inflicted upon them, stated the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces.
The statement added that the US aggression came in flagrant violations of all international laws and norms, asserting the determination to defend the Syrian Arab territories restoring security and stability to Syria, pursuing the fight against terrorism.
The US aggression asserts the continued wrong American strategy and makes the USA a partner of Daesh and Al-Nusra and their affiliates terrorism, added the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces.
The Syrian Presidency blasted the US attack as an irresponsible reckless shorted-sighted disillusioned military and political blind act.
In a statement on the Presidency face book page, the Presidency added that the US aggression is but a fool act misled behind an elusive campaign of lies which led to such a reckless political and military aggression.
The consequence of different US Administrations does not change the policies of the consequent US hegemony bids over the world, subjugation of people, added the Presidency statement.
If the US regime thinks that it has been able through this aggression to support its lackeys of the gangs and terrorist organizations on the ground, the Syrian Arab Republic reiterates that this flagrant aggression has but increased Syria’s determination to strike at those lackey terrorists and to pursue purging every span of Syrian territories from them concluded the statement.
Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry blasted the US flagrant aggression as to weaken the Syrian Arab Army and its ability to encounter the terrorist groups in the interest of Israel, Daesh, and Al-Nusra terrorists which the USA use as to accomplish its sinister objectives in Syria.
The Ministry added in its statement that the pretext of chemicals in Khan Sheikhoun was propagated for by the terrorist organizations and their operators in Washington, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Doha, Ankara, London, and Paris and with their affiliated mass media means.
What took place in Khan Sheikhoun was but a deliberate predetermined act as a pretext for the US strikes against the Syrian Arab Army and its fight against terrorism, asserted the statement.
The Syrian Arab Republic categorically denies its possession of chemical weapons given its full cooperation with and implementation of its signed agreement with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
The Ministry vehemently condemned the US flagrant aggression in violation of and contradiction with the UN Charter and International Law principles and called on the UNSC to carry its duties and convene a session to deliberate the grave consequences for such dangerous US aggression risks.
The Ministry sources asserted that the US, which leads a so-called anti-terrorism alliance- has massacred hundreds of Syrian civilians, destroyed many infrastructure facilities including hospitals, bridges and schools, and with the acknowledgement the US Army itself and other international sides.
