Russia and Philippines Condemn International Forces’ Detention

Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov condemned the detention of a number of elements of the United Nations Mission by  an armed terrorist groups, considering the detention  as an disregard for the international organization.

” The abduction of the United Nations Mission’s members is an evidence that there is nothing prevent the armed terrorists groups of doing anything which is not illegal, these heinous ones will not be supported by any country”.

An armed terrorist group detained twenty-one elements of the United Nations Mission who tasked with monitoring the separation of forces in the Occupied Golan, where the UN Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations condemned this terrorist act yesterday,demanding the immediate release for the internationalists elements without preconditions.

For its part,the Philippine government condemns firmly illegal detention for 21 Valippinia soldiers of the peacekeeping force led by the United Nations in the occupied Golan,” stressing that their detention is a violation of international law and should be released without delay,Agence France-Presse said as Philippine Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario quoting today in a statement.
