Russia Blocks 23.000 ISIS Propaganda Online Pages

Russia has blocked thousands of ISIS propaganda online pages, according to Izvestia newspaper.

The paper reported Friday that Russia’s telecommunications watchdog Roskomnadzor blocked over 23.000 pages promoting for the ISIS terror organization in Russia.

 “One third of the pro-ISIS pages were discovered in Russian social media,” the paper added, indicating that the terror organization [ISIS] spreads videos via internet.

It asserted that Russian security services had discovered seven periodicals containing extremist information in Russian language.
