Syrian Community, Students in Hungary Denounce Friday’s Zionist Aggression on Syria

BUDAPEST, (ST)- Syrian  community, Syrian Students National Union ‘s branch in Hungary and Forum for Syria have denounced the Israeli blatant aggression on Syrian lands, asserting their support for Syrian Arab army in fighting armed terrorist organizations.

They said in a statement released Saturday that the blatant aggression aims to support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, including ISIS and al-Nusra Front [Jabhat al-Nusra].

On Friday, the General Command of Army and Armed Forces declared that Syrian defense forces shot down an Israeli warplane inside occupied territories, hit another one and coerced two others to run away.

“The blatant aggression carried out by four Israeli warplanes aims to back terrorist ISIS gangs and to raise their collapsed morale as well as to obscure Syrian Arab army’s victories over terrorist organizations,” the general command said in its yesterday’s statement.

The Zionist aggression was preceded by two terrorist blasts in Justice Palace headquarters and al-Rabweh district in Damascus where scores of innocent civilians were martyred and wounded.

The blasts were condemned by the Syrian community in Austria and ‘Hands Off Syria’ Initiative.

“These terror acts prove perpetrators’ hatred and their plans for killing and destruction,” the community and the initiative said in a statement issued Friday.

They stressed that the terror blasts reflect the political and military bankruptcy of terrorists and their supporters.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged against Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructure in accordance with US-Zionist plot that seeks to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
