Czech Republic Constantly Cooperates with Syrian Government in Delivering Humanitarian Aid to the Syrians

PRAGUE, (ST)- The Czech Republic has constant cooperation and coordination with the Syrian government as to ensure and deliver the Czech humanitarian aid to the Syrian people in different parts of Syria, Lubomir Zoaralek , The Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced.

In a statement to the Czech ” Lidové  Noviny” newspaper on Monday, Zoaralek clarified that “the Syrian government is completely briefed on our activities regarding the delivery of humanitarian assistance,” noting that the Czech Republic organizes logistic aid delivery operations in cooperation with the Syrian Red Cross and Red Crescent.

 He said the Czech diplomacy starts from the need to maintain the Syrian state’s institutions so as the mistakes committed in Iraq and Libya aren’t repeated, pointing out that in dealing with the Syrian issue, his country will avoid the mistakes committed in Iraq.

The minister expressed his confidence in the political process going on in Geneva based on Intra-Syrian dialogue to find a solution to the crisis in Syria.
