Iranian commander Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said that those who are responsible for the unrest in Syria, namely certain regional and European countries as well as the US, would “suffer severe blows” from the very terrorists that they have funded and trained.

Senior Iranian commander Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri confimed that the provision of more aid to terrorists in Syria by the US and its allies is a “grave mistake” which will backfire.

“Declaring more aid for terrorists by certain political officials is a grave mistake and these people will soon see its consequences,” he added.

He continued:” In a meeting of the so-called “Friends of Syria” group in Rome, on February 28, US Secretary of State John Kerry promised an additional USD 60 million in aid to the opposition of the  Syrian National Coalition.”

“The US is mistaken if it thinks that it can use al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups for its benefit for a long time,”  and those who are responsible for the unrest in Syria, namely certain regional and European countries as well as the US, would “suffer severe blows” from the very terrorists that they have funded and trained.
