DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE– The gas pipeline in Jeiroud area, shut off by the terrorist organizations earlier today, has been re-opened.
According to SANA, Director of the General Electricity Company of Damascus Countryside Khaldoun Heddeh said earlier that the terrorist organizations shut off the valve of the gas pipeline that supplies al-Nasseriyeh, Tishrin and Deir Ali power stations, causing the power plants to go out of service.
In his statement to SANA, Damascus Countryside Governor Alaa Ibrahim announced that gas has been pumped back to al-Nasseriyeh station after the pipeline was reopened, noting that the reopening of the pipeline has been done thanks to the efforts of the Governorate and those of the authorities concerned and the “honorable” locals of the cities of Jeiroud and al-Riheiba.
