US-Led Coalition Warplanes Destroy Four Bridges, Main Water Pipeline in Raqqa

RAQQA, (ST)- The warplanes of the So-called US-led Anti-ISIS Coalition has destroyed four bridges in the Syrian Raqqa province and targeted drinking water pipelines.

The attacks come within the framework of the coalition’s aggression on the Syrian infrastructure under the pretext of fighting ISIS.

According to local and media sources, warplanes affiliated to the US-led coalition Friday morning launched raids against several Raqqa bridges destroying completely  the two Raqqa old and new bridges as well as two other bridges in al-Kalta and al-Abbara villages.

 The sources said that the raids also targeted the drinking water main pipeline which supplies the city of Raqqa with water. As a result, water was cut off to the whole city.

On January 18th, the coalition’s warplanes’ raids completely destroyed a bridge in the surrounding of al-Yamama village in Raqqa western countryside. The attack was launched two weeks after the coalition’s planes destroyed a bridge over Aleppo-Raqqa Autostrad in the surrounding of al-Msherfa village in Raqqa western countryside.
